Mr. Alan C. Stein graduated from the State University of New York at Binghamton with a B.A. in History in 1990. He earned his Juris Doctor from Touro College, Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center in 1994 and was admitted to the Bar of the State of New York in 1995. He is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court, Eastern and Southern Districts of New York, the State of Connecticut, and the United States Court of Appeals, Second Circuit.
Several of Mr. Stein’s high-profile cases have been published in law journals and covered by press releases. He is a member of the Nassau County Bar Association, Southampton Chamber of Commerce, and Long Island Association.
In addition to his legal career, Alan C. Stein has been a Rabbi since 1995, having obtained S’micha (Rabbinical Ordination) from the Tifereth Yisrael Rabbinical Yeshiva. He is dedicated to performing life cycle events and currently serves as the rabbi of Temple Beth Chai in Hauppauge, N.Y.
Mr. Stein has been a Plainview resident since 1996 and is married to Dr. Julie Izen. Together they have three children, Alexa Brittany, Harley Madison, and Harris Randall.
